Marie is civic minded and comes to the Leadership Council with broad experience in public service. She is the immediate past Mayor of Hillsborough and currently serves as a Council Member. She is has held numerous leadership positions on community boards, including Chair to the County City Association of Governments and the Central County Fire Department Fire Board, active participation in San Mateo County Pre-Hospital Emergency Medical Service and County Sheriff's Area Office of Emergency Services. Marie and her family live in Hillsborough and she is committed to supporting the Leadership Council’s role in providing community wide opportunities. You may have seen Marie recently volunteering to food drive and help distribute PPE supplies during the COVID-19 pandemic.
