Judith Guerrero

Executive Director

Coastside Hope

Judith Guerrero is a proud immigrant, daughter of a farmworker, and first-generation college graduate whose life and work are rooted in the resilience of her family. She came to the Bay Area to reunite with her grandparents, who worked in the fields on the Coastside of San Mateo County. Their sacrifice and work ethic continue to guide her commitment to service.

Judith holds a master’s degree in Public Administration and a bachelor’s degree in Administration of Justice and Sociology, with a concentration in criminology. For the past 11 years, she has served the Coastside through nonprofit leadership, including five years as Executive Director of the Boys & Girls Club of the Coastside. Since 2019, she has led Coastside Hope, a safety-net and immigration services organization supporting local families.

Through her leadership, Judith has expanded services, supported families during times of crisis, and advocated for immigrant and working-class communities, especially farmworkers. She serves on local boards and works to ensure underrepresented voices are included in decisions that affect their lives. Her journey reflects perseverance, purpose, and a deep commitment to building a more just and compassionate community.
