What decision have you been putting off? Sometimes a fresh perspective is just what you need.
On September 30, leaders gathered at the Sobrato Center for Nonprofits for “Decide with Clarity: Better Decisions Amid Ambiguity,” the first LEAD Local workshop of the year.
Expert leadership coach and program facilitator Sharvari Shetty brought decision-making theory to life through thoughtful reflection, practical tools, and guided conversations with fellow leaders. The thoughtfully designed curriculum gave participants a structured process for working through real decisions they were facing. They examined their own decision-making tendencies, explored what made a choice difficult, and identified concrete next steps. Peer coaching offered space to think out loud, ask questions, and see a challenge through someone else’s eyes.
For one participant, the breakthrough was years in the making:
“In this session, I found the framework to move forward from a place I’ve been stuck in for 1-2 years. Huge. Thank you.”
Another captured the value of learning together:
“The frameworks provided by the workshop are great. The community you find at your table is sometimes even more important.”
The value extended beyond the immediate decisions on the table.
“I learned so much that I will utilize in my life and career.”
A morning well spent, with new perspectives and next steps to take back to work.
