Isabella Brown

Senior Program Manager

A fifth-generation San Mateo County native, Isabella has deep family roots in the region and a lifelong commitment to strengthening the community she calls home. As Senior Program Manager at Leadership Council San Mateo County, she supports the organization's leadership development initiatives, providing strategic oversight of the Leadership CORPS and Emerging Leaders Immersion Programs while serving as the program lead for LEAD Local, the organization's leadership development and civic knowledge series.

Isabella works closely with leaders from the business, government, nonprofit, and education sectors to design meaningful learning experiences that strengthen civic leadership, foster public-private partnerships, and build lasting relationships across San Mateo County.

Since joining Leadership Council SMC in 2023, Isabella has played a key role in expanding the organization's programming, including successfully launching LEAD Local as a new platform for leadership development. She is passionate about creating opportunities that bring people together to better understand their communities, build trusted relationships, and develop the leadership skills needed to address complex regional challenges.

Isabella earned a B.A. in Strategic Communications from Washington State University. Her time living in Pullman offered a meaningful opportunity to experience the strength of a close-knit community beyond the Bay Area. She and her husband, both proud Cougs, still enjoy returning to rural Washington whenever they get the chance.

Outside of work, Isabella enjoys spending time with her family and her beloved English Springer Spaniel, exploring local restaurants, cooking, and starting each day with an early morning workout.
